Being able to have the "xy coordinate pegboards" will help the students plot points and help them visualize equations they get on paper. Creating a lesson in math that involves these peg boards will increase my students curiosity and will intrigue them to do math and get their hands on them. Having a hands-on activity in math is very important because it will keep the kids engaged. Having these peg boards will allow all of this to happen in my 7th grade math classroom but as well as in a 8th grade math classroom or algebra. Having these visuals will help my students get a deeper understanding of how linear equations are built.
