Our school's mission is to encourage children to be all they can be. This includes teaching them to love reading. As we all know, reading can take us anyplace that we want to go. Our children want to be able to travel to places beyond their imagination. I teach at a wonderfully, diverse school with amazing students. They want to learn but with over 50% of them receiving free lunch, having enough books for everyone is a big problem.
