Offering technology in my Kindergarten classroom provides the base my students will need in their elementary education and beyond. In Kindergarten, my job is to teach students foundational skills across all academic subjects but more importantly, it is my duty to teach my students how to be good citizens both inside and outside the classroom. In a world filled with digital influence, it is so important for students of all ages to know how to appropriately use technology safely. Good habits for technology usage will start in my classroom. Students will use this technology to reinforce Math and Reading skills and to challenge themselves once they have mastered these skills. They will start to explore STEAM challenges by designing projects that are made using trial and error- creating critical thinking skills that will be used across all subject matters. With technology at their fingertips, the possibilities are endless!
