In this day in age, we rely on screens for everything, from works, to school, to news, to entertainment, screen time is at an all-time high. Due to the nature of the 2020-2021 school year, and the extra precautions we have had to take for everyone's safety my students have had limited opportunities to play and interact with each other. Often when we do have moments of downtime in our busy days, my kids often ask me if they can have more screen time for their “free time” and with your help and generous donations, I want to have the privilege to encourage more imaginative play that encourages curiosity and drive to understand the workings of the world. They love to tinker and build and create with the limited supplies we do have, and it would make a world of difference for them to have access to a wide range of stem toys that will foster both independent playtime skills, as well as their teamwork skills, as well as show them anything is possible, and with the right tools and attitude they can be leaders in stem and engineering one day!
