This year will be different for all of my students. Some will be learning remotely from home everyday and others will come to school some days and learn from home other through a hybrid model. They are motivated students who love to learn through art and literature. Creating art will also help them to cope socially and emotionally in today's world. Sketchbooks help students to articulate, externalize and sort thoughts, explore ideas, visualize, reflect, communicate ideas, focus, encourage deeper thinking, inspire confidence, link learning to life and so much more! Please help give my students the sketchbooks they need to be successful artists whether they are learning virtually or in the classroom. Having a sketchbook will insure that they have an opportunity for hands-on art making at home. Sketchbooks are a way for students to collect thoughts, imagery, collect references etc. Sketchbooks are about making your thoughts and ideas real, by writing, drawing, doodling, etc.
