Imagine wanting nothing more than to run and jump around, but instead having to sit down at a table where you are expected to learn. It sure would not be easy! My students are full of energy, and while much of our day is set up to allow for them to let out their energy, it is very important to teach them school readiness skills, which include sitting down for instruction at a table. Flexible seating options will help my students remain engaged in their learning, and will help them to further develop the skills they need to be successful.
