If my project is sponsored, it will make a difference in my children's lives. Through technology my students can learn about animals and places around the world they have never seen. My students will be able to explore reading and math skills independently in my classroom through centers as I teach small group instruction. Many of the children in my class do not have computers at home. With us not having computers at school, it puts my students at a disadvantage from learning skills in reading and math that other children may learn in schools with technology. We only have a SmartBoard in our class but if we had Chromebooks I know my students can focus on ABC mouse program skills they need independently to help them grow academically in math and literacy!
