The resources I am funding appeal to all types of learners. These resources are for 2 subjects (Science and Social Studies) that the students are required to pass for promotion to the next grade. These resources will go far beyond my first 48 students as they can be reused for years to come. These resources can also be used for other elementary grades should I be moved during another school year. These students are from military families which means the majority of them are coming from a single parent home due to deployments. Their emotional stress is already a hindrance for their academic achievement. These resources will help me close that gap. These resources bundles will be used the entire year to supplement lesson plans. My students will use these resources to have a visual for the lesson. For example, when teaching my stupids about the American Revolutionary War, the resources in the cart will allow me to show them primary sources as well as extra practice to grasp the timeline of the war and it’s effect on our country. The resources will aid in exploration and understanding in my classroom. I have already put a lot of my own money into the classroom. However, the benefits of these resources are invaluable. Please find it in your heart to donate to aid me in helping my students have a successful 5th-grade year and future.
