My students have a variety of learning and communication needs. We utilize sign language on a daily basis, therefore the sign language rug will be used in our group area as a learning tool as well as a rug. The big rug has letters and numbers and bright colors to make our centers area fun. The reading rug will be used in our literacy corner along with the beanbag chair. The sensory light and sound system will be used to help students when they need a break. The flexible seating is an option to help my students build balance and motor skills as well as give them some sensory input as needed throughout the day.
