This collection of books is written for students in middle school, but at a level where students who struggle with reading can read them all on their own! For students with disabilities who struggle to read, access to books at their level is crucial to their academic success. Being required to read books designed for younger kids is demoralizing and students begin to avoid reading, which prevents them from improving their skills. These books will develop the love of reading in our middle schoolers! Having these books in our school collection will help students feel like part of their school community, develop their reading skills, and learn to love to read!
