I work as a fourth grade classroom teacher who works with small groups throughout the day in each subject to aid in filling the academic gaps that some students may have. This small group table will aid in both creating a smoother work period but also be useful because the work space for students is built right into it. Having a space for students to work and for me to quickly see and either praise or correct work is imperative to closing the gaps. The donations to this project will help to drastically improve my small group instruction. The table I am requesting will give the students I work with a space where everyone can be seen. This will make working collaboratively so much more productive. Not to mention my favorite piece of this table, is being able to write quickly and erase, as opposed to making copies and using a lot of paper for resources.
