Integrating the arts into the classroom will enable the students to create unique projects using watercolor paints to express their artistic talents. The journals are for their edited poetry so they can create a collection of poetry they can hold onto for a lifetime. They may also use the water color paints to decorate their Poetry journals. They know how to write Haikus and free verse poetry. They also know how use stamps to create art. It would be awesome to teach them about Japanese Art Block using the water color paints. I want to expand their horizons with these materials.
