Our current classroom rug can only fit half of our class, meaning the remaining students must sit in chairs behind their peers or on the hard floor. Having this rug in our classroom would finally allow all of my students to sit together while learning. We meet at the carpet multiple times throughout the day for reading, writing, and math. Therefore, the time spent on this rug would have an immense impact on my students’ lives daily. The cleanliness of the rug would also improve our overall classroom environment and make our classroom more welcoming for all! After all, our classroom is our home away from home!

About my class
