It's a daily struggle having students bring their supplies to my classroom. Examples: I let students use pencils and paper daily that I provide because they don't bring it from home. Rarely do they have a folder or binder to keep work in. Students may bounce from home to home or cannot afford to bring or replace basic supplies, so to avoid embarrassment I'd like to provide them the minimum necessary supplies for my classroom so they feel equipped for success.
