Where do you want to settle in and read a good book? Laying on your couch? Comfortable in a quiet corner? I want to give my kids that inviting space to enjoy their independent reading. By providing comfortable seating options, students will be encouraged to read for longer periods of time and develop important skills and strategies. This inclusion classroom is comprised of students on different levels with different needs an I want to provide options which will encourage all of their success and reading stamina. Second graders are becoming independent readers and I want to create a welcoming and comfortable environment that invites students to sit, settle in and get acquainted with books. With these comfy floor seats and privacy dividers, I hope to increase their reading stamina and love of reading. Thank you for your generous donations to our determined and hard working 2nd grade Salome Urena Stars!!!
