As a special education teacher of students with emotional and behavioral issues, I have many students that struggle with anxiety, and ADHD. This tends to lead to student pacing my classrooms. When students start to pace the classroom, my students have more behavioral issues, and arguments start. The students that I have enjoyed sitting in my teacher chair and my stool and podium. The students argue over who gets to sit where. I would love to give them more than a traditional chair, one stool, and one teacher chair! Flexible seating helps the students move in the classroom without becoming a distraction to other students, or the teacher in the classroom!
