An important component of every PBL we do is the literature we get to expose our students to. We use these books to teach not only science and social studies content, but also reading skills. There is nothing like having an engaging text read aloud to you! Kindergartners, especially those learning a new language, need as much exposure to their new language as possible. These books will help my students be able to learn new content vocabulary and experience the amazing world of reading. In addition, students will use the knowledge learned from these books to create a thriving garden for Monarchs, describe positive character traits, photograph various types of sports motions, write a myth, and build a constellation.

About my class
