How wrong was I about my students! I spent my first year and a half of teaching trying to put my students into nice neat "boxes." I wanted everybody and everything to have a clear cut category to fit into. My students taught me that their minds and imaginations cannot fit into a "box!" My students love to learn, create, and explore. They each have their own way of learning and expressing themselves. I have learned to adapt to accommodate how they learn. It is about me reaching them, not them reaching me. I have learned that my students fit into one category: My Students.
