My project is to obtain two curriculum sets will help my students have a successful year learning skills that are tailored to their individual needs. The curriculum sets include a functional math curriculum and a functional life skills curriculum. Working in a self-contained classroom, students are working at a level that is very individualized and requires its own curriculum separate from the general education curriculum. These resources will help students feel successful while learning important life skills. These life skills might included proper hygiene, balancing a checkbook, cooking meals, and many other important skills. Please consider helping these special learners be successful in school and in life.
