The large carpet will be placed in the meeting area. It will provide a clean, comfortable place for students to sit during lessons. This area will also give students the alternative of working on the floor if they get tired of sitting on their chairs. Being able to alternate sitting positions, and even laying down at times, will allow students to focus on their work and not the discomfort of sitting on their chairs for prolonged periods of time. The squares the carpet is divided into, will make it easy for kindergarten students to find their spots quickly; leading to maximizing time and minimizing behavior issues.
