Our classroom theme is based on Super Mario to remind the students that each of them have "super powers" that make them unique. We celebrate diversity daily, and all students are reminded that they are capable of doing challenging tasks. All students are part of a team color (red, yellow, blue, or green), and they frequently participate in group work to earn Mario coins for their team and reinforce their understanding of lessons previously taught.
