These materials will help expand their comprehension skills by reading multiple different books about multiple different topics. It will also help me provide a way for the first graders to learn about the importance of these topics and how they contribute to the community. It will also help improve their accelerated reading skills and help me to provide books to small groups (guided reading) sessions. This project will help me guide and teach the young minds of today that will step foot into the first grade classroom. Your help will be appreciated by not only me and this upcoming first grade class but many first graders to come.
