Flexible seating gives students the freedom to choose a seat that works best for them. Every student is different and every student learns in a different way. Giving students the opportunity to choose their own seating allows them to take charge of their education. Currently my students have the option of sitting around the room during independent work. My students are more actively engaged when they are given the freedom to make their own choice and sit in a seat that works best for them. These seating options will provide students with more flexibility in their seating choices. The wobble stools, wobble cushions, and yoga balls will provide my more wiggly students the option to have the constant movement they need, without causing a distraction to their peers. The clipboards will give students a writing surface when they are sitting in their smart choice seats. In addition to the items selected there will be traditional seating, standing desk, lowered floor seating, stools, ​and crate seats. All of the options that will be provided will fit the needs of all students.
