I am looking to purchase an up-to-date Social, Emotional, Learning (S.E.L) curriculum, via the Teachers Pay Teachers website, to help my students not worry, but be happy. Their social emotional learning has suffered after being away from the physical classroom and school for so long. The curriculum I would like to purchase via the Teachers Pay Teachers website is more important than ever, for my students and myself as we learn to navigate the 'new normal' of the COVID 19 pandemic. Through the project I will be able to better engage them in a happy, and healthy learning environment that encourages growth through perseverance. The Mind + Heart curriculum includes social emotional lessons, as well as interactive projects that focus on self-regulation, emotional awareness, growth mindset, respect, manners, friendship, self-esteem, kindness, and empathy. The read aloud picture books I am requesting will also support student's understanding and greatly compliment the curriculum I would like to add to my teaching day. Using read aloud texts will help my students to make meaningful connections to better understand themselves and their peers.
