K-PS3-2. Use tools and materials to design and build a structure that will reduce the warming effect of sunlight on an area.* Students will design and build robots. This fulfills STEAM requirements as our school wants to one day become a STEAM Academy. 3.PK.2a Express feelings, needs or wants in appropriate ways. Students will use sensory objects to calm themselves as students with special needs sometimes get stressed. During this COVID era, students have been especially stressed, and having tools to help them calm themselves and express themselves through robotics and sensory objects will be a great help.
