All of my students become very engaged when it comes to technology. They are very familiar with cell phones and computers, but tablets will be new and fun for them! These tablets will increase student learning and engagement because their generation has grown up with technology all around them. Computers (in a school setting) are often used for testing and seen as "boring" to some students. These Fire Tablets will be seen as something fun and exciting, where students are still learning. These tablets will also teach my students what it means to be independent and responsible for their own materials!
