Many students enter my class and indicate they have not used a microscope or have participated in a science lab. The materials will make a difference by allowing students to recognize their own misconceptions and to promote questioning and thinking. Students will apply science and engineering practices to explore new phenomenon. Students will use their knowledge to develop models, extending their discoveries for use in the real world scientific practices and implementation in science research. My goal is to encourage students to consider science a possible career path and construct a learning environment that is an effective and fun.

About my class
