Learning the ABCs, sounds and numbers are primary focuses in pre-kindergarten. With Pre-K being the first school experience many of our children have, why not make it fun! With Kindle Fires and Osmo learning, our 4-year olds will get just that. Many of our students are used to playing games on their parent's phones already, so we can provide something familiar to them only on an educational level. This level of technology keys into a preschooler's love of colors, music, and movement, which will, in turn, stimulate their brains and facilitate learning. There are also many free apps that can be put on the Kindle, which allow children to listen to stories being read, as well as those that allow them to be interactive with the story. In my experience, children, who love certain educational games in the classroom, will go home and ask their parents to put them on their phone too. Using Kindle Fires in the classroom is a win-win for everyone.
