It may seem like a cubby space is a very small thing. However, to a small child having their own space for their personal things shows that they are an important member of our classroom community and school. It also provides needed organization in the classroom! We did not have enough space in our old, makeshift cubbies to accommodate all our students last year. We managed with random, mismatched baskets placed in any available spot we could find. How important our students would feel to have one, attractive central location to put their papers and projects that accommodates all students!

About my class
