I love teaching! I have been in education for 14 years. I've taught 5th, 6th, and 3rd grade, and am thrilled to begin teaching 2nd grade after serving as a Reading Coach and Curriculum Coordinator for the past 5 years. I have been excitedly creating an inviting and enriching classroom environment and want to provide the highest quality of instruction to my students. I have been working all summer to plan literacy and math centers and I will implement research-based strategies to ensure that each student has the best opportunity for success at school. In addition, I am eager to build meaningful relationships with my students and become a positive influence, mentor, and advocate for each of them.
