Flexible seating options stimulate students’ sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help children focus and process information. This seating is also so much more fun to sit in that a traditional desk. My students often get overstimulated and sometimes just need a break or a place to distress or relax. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. This seating allows my students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed. Having a since of control empowers my students!
