Because there are over 30 transitions in a single day in a Kindergarten classroom, we need those times to be quiet. Your contribution will help our transitions be so much calmer by providing tennis balls to cover the bottoms of all of our table and chair legs. Students will sing their “scoot in our chairs” song as they make their way to the carpet for listening and learning time. Instead of students talking over the noises of scooting in their chairs, imagine instead a classroom with tranquility. A climate of consistent, harmonious peace will enhance learning as students feel safe and at ease.
