Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. These chairs will be wonderful additions to our student-centered classroom. Students are more engaged and involved in their learning when they're comfortable. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I have noticed a huge difference in student motivation when they're given options. In class, these chairs would be utilized in a small group setting while working on target skills with math concepts. They would be used while we create models and use manipulatives to support our learning. They will be utilized at times throughout the class for those students who need a little extra stimulation or for those with extra energy.
