The students in my classroom are not always able to contain their energy or movement. They require sensory items and flexible seating to encourage them to do their best and try their hardest. Having the flexibility to move around the room changes their focus. I have students that need to read aloud to themselves when they are completing independent work and others that needs a space away from their peers. In my classroom students can move to find the location that works best for their focus. It allows them to wiggle as they need to and read aloud to themselves without disturbing other students.
