Each year my students have different needs, but the longer I teach the more I see the need for alternative seating in my classroom. This past year I had some students who could have benefited from Flex-Space Wobble Cushions. They were bright students who had the need to move while being instructed and while working so that they could focus and finish tasks they were given. They would stand while being instructed and working, but sometimes that was hard for the other students to see over them. Also, when it came to working for longer periods of time, especially when writing for longer periods of time, it was hard for them to stand and continue writing. By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Each year I see a greater need for children to be able to move so that they can more easily focus their attention on me and on their work. Wobble cushions will give them the needed movement to be able to concentrate on the task at hand. This project will help all students in my classroom, not just those needing the cushion. If those students who need to move while focusing have an outlet for moving, they tend not to bother students who are around them. Thank you!
