Students from all diversities will complete self-assessments for school and work environments. They will self-reflect after each assessment and then compare the two differences on their answers to the questions. After their critique, each one will privately interview with a national or international mentor (whom they have not met) over the web by their Chromebooks. This helps them choose a career pathway, whether it is academic (college based) or technical (industry based). Each student, upon completion of the interview, will earn a "Complementary Credential Certificate" which is recognized on their Individual Graduation Plan. This enables prospective employers to see a student has learned the basics of soft skills to become productive employees. In our technological world, students are more prepared for the social and technology skills needed to be successful. This class has brought out the best in their personalities and opened them up to achievements they did not believe was possible!
