These books will give students options of reading materials. They will be able to expand their vocabulary, critical thinking, and relate these experiences they read about to every day life. With these books I could give my students a positive reading experience that they might not have had before. Options and variety are crucial for 4th-6th grade. My students will be able to use the non-fiction books to grasp real life problems and situations that are out there in the real world. Students will also be able to read up on Greek heroes and classic stories that were told from a different culture. Students want a say in what they can do, and having an option for them is the best way to create a positive reaction, and hopefully getting them to want more.
