Students struggle everyday with counting money and coins. Students just don't always "get it". My students need a new, fun, interactive way to learn and review coins and bill amounts. They will be able to learn facts about money, look at the costs of different items, watch educational videos on Brainpop, Jr., and engage in countless math apps to fine tune their financial understanding. By having an iPad in our classroom, my students will be able to practice counting and identifying coins in small groups. There are so many apps that are available that will help my students gain the financial literacy that they need to survive and be successful in our world. My students will benefit greatly from your help, so thank you in advance for enhancing financial literacy using technology. The iPads will provide students with a creative way to master their financial awareness.
