Children love the opportunity to have their own space to keep materials. This gives them a sense of independence and responsibility while also allowing them to sit a group tables to work cooperatively. The seat back pockets would be an amazing tool to support students with organization while allowing them to be at group tables as well. The multi-color carpet would be a wonderful addition to our classroom. Much of a young student's learning occurs during floor time. During this time, students have to opportunity to listen to reading, work on interactive writing, and play math games. It can be a struggle for children to find their own space during some of these activities and the carpet would allow them choice as well as give them that space.
