My students’ love to learn, they just learn a little bit differently than the average student. They learn best when they are calm, focused, and comfortable. Some days this can be a nearly impossible task with the traditional seating that is meant for the traditional learner. It is like fitting a heart-shaped key into a traditional key and lock. You cannot simply unlock the door to learning without the right key! My students’ can find it nearly impossible to sit still some days. A traditional chair can turn dangerous quickly when they start to tip it backward. Having a wobble chair allows them to move around safely while being able to attend to lessons. We need flexible seating such as beanbags, wobble chairs, T-stool, knee pads for sitting on the floor, and fidget chair bands, so we can make the best choice for our learning at that moment. Please help set my students’ up for success by allowing them to work in their most successful environment.
