To date, my students have used weak, flimsy and collapsible music stands that malfunction on a regular basis and require precious class time to setup and break down. Because of the time factor, these stands are usually pushed into a corner of the room instead of being disassembled and put away properly, creating a veritable forest of aluminum. A typical band room can be chaotic without the proper equipment; not only for making music, but for organizing, storing, and maintaining all of the necessities. Good music stands are essential, but so is a place to put them for a highly efficient classroom. This package of 20 stands and a dolly would help to make the environment more stream-lined and orderly so that students could focus fully on what's most important--making music.
