Our school system has Chromebooks we can use to support our children. Headphones allow students to use audio and video functions that help them learn better without disturbing the learning of others. Our Chromebook track pads are very worn out; providing students with computer mice improves students' ability to write, respond, code, and use technology to its maximum capacity. For example, we will be learning how to code in fifth grade using code.org. Headphones allow students to listen to instructional videos and/or sounds. A computer mouse lets them drag and drop their work. Using both of these devices would significantly improve students abilities to code.
