My district is committed to Comprehensive Distance Learning until January. In order to foster and preserve the strong academic community we have formed in my class since I started teaching them in 6th grade, I have chosen the novel "The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora" after conversations with my students about what issues and topics are important to them. The novel "The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora" will be used as the vehicle to foster critical thinking skills as well as means to discuss in our Spanish Immersion classroom critical issues that not only matter to my students but issues that their families face in our city.

About my class
