The seating choices I am requesting for my special education students will give them the opportunity to learn. The use of flexible seating will allow students to be placed in a comfortable atmosphere free from distraction and help foster creativity. Each of my special education students deserves the right to have a learning environment specific to their needs, which allows for better engagement and is also fun for the students. By helping create this atmosphere, you are allowing my students to receive the best education possible free from stiff, uncomfortable seating arrangements. Students will be able to focus on the work at hand instead of their placement or seating in the classroom. These opportunities will allow my students to soar in both reading and math. It will allow my students to communicate openly not only with their peers but also with the teachers in this setting.
