Being a sixth-grade science and math teacher, it is imperative that my students can SEE, just as much as they can hear my instruction. Have you ever tried to solve a math problem with auditory instruction alone? Have you and your classmates ever crowded together around your science teacher as she tried to demonstrate an experiment? It is hard to see an experiment this way, and it is extremely easy to miss a crucial step because Curly Cate's hair was blocking your view. Having a document camera and projector stand would greatly improve my students' educational experience. I could use the IPEVO V4K Document Camera to assist with my instruction for both science and math. My students could utilize it to project their experiments and projects for all their classmates to see-- ensuring that class presentations do not waste indispensable class time. The projector stand would allow for me to project the image higher on the whiteboard, as I currently try to wedge books and pencils underneath the projector. Please help bring more technology to my students and give them the gift of sight!
