My students are always trying to create an inspirational environment for all students. They come up with projects to motivate students, and teachers, every day. They already do this, to the best of their ability and resources available to them. Students will become motivators! The first project will be to have students design motivational gifts and phrases using the Cricut Machine. They will create vinyl designs, on a computer, for motivational wall clings and Student of the Month/Caught Doing Good gifts. Then students will learn how to use the Cricut Machine to make their designs come to fruition. Student Council Members are meant to help motivate all students to be better learners and citizens at our school. The next project will be to promote the collection of Box Tops. Students will create and design posters to encourage submission of Box Tops. They will also help create the vessels used to collect each classroom's collection. They want to use shadow boxes to collect Box Tops. So they plan on creating a vinyl design, on the Cricut Machine, for each box. Collection of Box Tops help us fund other areas. Students will become entrepreneurs! They will learn how to create designs and bring a project to life, with the help of the Cricut Explore Air. It will give them the ability to explore an area of studies not offered on a daily basis. It will also give them the satisfaction of knowing they have made something. Students will learn that success in one area leads to success in other areas!
