Our Chromebooks are used every day in our busy library! Our students (K-5) are all using Google tools and Chromebooks. As a Google Certified Educator, I am constantly striving to build technology into my lessons. They are also used ALL summer long for our summer library program. The machines that we have are several years old and unfortunately need to be charged quite regularly. Due to the fact that I do not have a complete class set, the kids sometimes have to share, so it is terrible when they are not charged. In addition, the library does not have enough space to charge them all at once and keep all of those cords laying straight. I like to empower the students to be in charge of things in the library, fostering independence and a love of the library; however, the cord situation can get a really messy! This cart would be life changing for our library.
