These new multicultural books along with the bean bag chairs will enhance our library area and make it possible for students to see people who look like them in books. With a diversity library, my students will increase their social study skills, knowledge about the world as a whole, and learn about many cultures different from their own. I can truly say that my classroom is a "melting pot”. With students from a vast variety of places, it sparks up curiosity and conversations among students. These wonderful books will help satisfy my students' innate curiosity about their classmates as they read together.

About my class
