Something I have found to be a struggle is the incorporation of technology in my classroom due to the limited resources. Currently, we very limited the ability of our students to have access to technology on a daily basis. By incorporating more opportunities for students to interact in technology, we can offer them new skills, strategies, and methods to help them to continue to grow and improve their literacy skills. The addition of tablets in the classroom would allow my students to practice building vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills in a variety of enriching ways. These tablets would be used to create student-based​ projects that help students build on their research skills but also allow them to practice analyzing a text as evidence. Tablets would also help boost our daily literacy centers in that each child in the group would be able to use their own tablet per rotation giving them each a chance to practice a skill set designed at their level.
