My students all have varying strengths, needs, and backgrounds. Technology can help to overcome challenges related to class size, time, language barriers, learning styles, and reading comprehension needs. From English Language Learners, to students who simply learn best from hearing information read aloud - a class set of headphones will make a world of difference in their learning experience. A class set of 30 headsets will provide 140+ students of diverse needs and backgrounds access to rigorous and engaging curricular content! My students will learn to be strong readers by listening to master readers reading rigorous texts while their teacher support their other needs through individual and small group instruction. Students will access and create various forms of media to strengthen their language acquisition, reading comprehension, and spoken communication skills!
